Every year,  St. Paul's Community Development Corporation sponsors and supports numerous community events. We encourage you to join us as we celebrate community in Paterson! You can help by encouraging your friends and neighbors to join with you and get involved in our neighborhood clean-ups, food drives, and other seasonal service projects.


Paint & Sip w/SPCDC

Summary: Join SPCDC for a fun evening of music, food, libations, and a painting design class

Emerging from the Covid-19 Pandemic, St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC) is pleased to once again host its Paint & Sip Fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the SPCDC Food Pantry. This event will take place in the historic Hannah Gallery at The Paterson Museum.

Sixty (60) of SPCDC's closest friends and supporters will enjoy a fun evening of music, food, libations, and a teaching artist who will lead all guests through a painting design of a Paterson-based landscape.

2023 Passaic County Point-In-Time Homeless Count
When: - ALL DAY
Where: Passaic County, NJ
Summary: Annual Survey of the homeless in Passaic County, NJ

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., volunteers recruited by St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC), Passaic County Department of Human Services, and a host of non-profit and governmental organizations, will take to the streets of Paterson, Passaic, Clifton, and all points Passaic County (NJ) to locate and survey the homeless. Surveyed individuals will be referred to charitable organizations like Eva's Village and SPCDC where they will be provided with access to necessary social services.

All volunteers are required to attend a training to be held via Zoom. A meeting link will be provided to registered volunteers.

Thursday, January 12, 2023, 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 19, 2023, 2:00 p.m.

Adopt-A-Family 2021
When: - 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: SPCDC, 456 Van Houten Street, Paterson
Summary: SPCDC is seeking gracious donors willing to adopt an SPCDC-supported family this holiday season.

St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC) will be holding its annual holiday toy and gift distribution event complete with a special visit from Santa Claus.

SPCDC families will be adopted through the support of local religious, community, and civic organizations, as well as individual donors.

The distribution of gifts will take place on Friday, December 17th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

SPCDC is seeking toy donations, as well as individuals and groups interested in adopting an SPCDC family.

Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Distribution
When: - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 451 Van Houten Street, Paterson
Summary: St. Paul's Community Development Corporation will be distributing Thanksgiving Baskets to 600 pre-selected Food Pantry and Paterson Full Service Community School families.

This year's distribution will take place on Tuesday, November 23, 2020, 10:0 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. These baskets provide families with a full Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings.

We are encouraging donations to ensure that we are able to meet this year's need. Donations can be coordinated by contacting our Food Pantry at the number below.

The Pantry is in need of the following items:

Frozen Turkeys
Potatoes
Yams
Canned Vegetables
Corn
Stuffing
String Beans
Gravy
Juice
Pie Filling, Pie Crust
